knit finger-less gloves for my Disney Animator dolls,

The glove line up

knit finger-less gloves for my Lalaloopsy doll,

"Ta da!"

They are so tiny!

knit finger-less gloves for my little sister,

Pink lady!

made muffins for my bunnies,

Patches loved it!

Hershey is not so sure.

Prudy is nibbling away.

and tried to make shoes for my Disney Animator dolls.

Shoes are a lot harder than the look. :-\ But I finally figured out one that I'm happy with.

Fail-won't fit
Ok- good, needs tweaking
Winner- works great

I have also been working on sewing patterns! One of them will be up soon. :-)
And that was what happened in my neck of the woods! ;-)

Triple Treat Cupcakes

Well, I have officially died and gone to heaven. My friend, Tyler and I have made the most delicious cupcakes known to man. Okay, one of the most delicious cupcakes known to man. Imagine a white cupcake with an Oreo at the bottom, chocolate chip cookie dough in the middle, and brownie frosting. Is you mouth watering yet? The cupcake is called (though you've probably guessed from the title) Triple Threat cupcakes. I found the recipe from THIS WEBSITE. Though there are many steps, don't let that stop you from enjoying this amazing cupcake.

We made some modifications to the recipe though. We didn't put brownies in the frosting since we didn't have any but we used the leftover Oreo pieces to top off the cupcake so it all balanced out. :-)

I love how the cupcakes turned out!

When doing the cupcakes, I used this little gadget that takes the middle of the cupcake out so you can fill it with whatever you want, in this case cookie dough. It worked fantastically!

My Hunger Games Party

For my 18th birthday this year,I had a Hunger Games themed party. I made oragami cranes for Mockingjays, parachutes out of foil and tissue paper,my sister and I made some Hunger Games scrapbook-type posters,we got fire colors for the plates, table cloth, and cups(red, orange, yeallow),and my mom made some awesome food! We looked at recipes from the Hunger Games cookbook and from online to get ideas on what to make. I decided to have a brunch party(mmm...brunch!) so everything was breakfast food. We had fruit tray, cinamon rolls, apple squares, quishes, and a breakfast casserole, complete with Hunger Games inspired names. My mom also made a punch and a cookie cake and strawberry poke cake(also adorned with Hunger Games-ness). My mom always does a great job with parties. This one was lots of fun! May the odds be ever in your favor!
