Toothless

No, I didn't loose all my teeth. This post is about Toothless, the dragon, from the movie How to Train Your Dragon. I stumbled across this pattern while looking for Lalaloopsy clothes patterns. Once I saw how awesome Toothless looked, I knew I had to make one for me and my cousin who loves dragons. The pattern, to me, was easy to follow and wielded fantastic results! I love how Toothless turned out and so did my cousin. :-) Toothless makes a great luvie and  protector against the nighttime dwellers that may or may not be fumbling about. Cute, yet ferocious, Toothless is one amazing dragon! Thank you nooby-banana for sharing such an great pattern!

Triple Treat Cupcakes

Well, I have officially died and gone to heaven. My friend, Tyler and I have made the most delicious cupcakes known to man. Okay, one of the most delicious cupcakes known to man. Imagine a white cupcake with an Oreo at the bottom, chocolate chip cookie dough in the middle, and brownie frosting. Is you mouth watering yet? The cupcake is called (though you've probably guessed from the title) Triple Threat cupcakes. I found the recipe from THIS WEBSITE. Though there are many steps, don't let that stop you from enjoying this amazing cupcake.

We made some modifications to the recipe though. We didn't put brownies in the frosting since we didn't have any but we used the leftover Oreo pieces to top off the cupcake so it all balanced out. :-)

I love how the cupcakes turned out!

When doing the cupcakes, I used this little gadget that takes the middle of the cupcake out so you can fill it with whatever you want, in this case cookie dough. It worked fantastically!

Crochet Flower Bunny

I made a small crochet bunny for Nan (my grandmother) for her birthday this year. I found hte pattern online somewhere but can't remember where. But it is out there in cyberspace...somewhere. I love this little bunny. She just has that sweet face that you just want to look at all day long. Or at least I want to.
But she is at Nan's house now so I can't look at her. :-( I guess I will just have to make one for myself. :-) I love crocheting!

Crochet Lalaloopsy Shoes

I'm very excited to share with everyone my very first crochet pattern I made. Whoo-hoo! :-D Let the parade begin! Lol

This pattern is shoes for the 13 inch Lalaloopsy dolls. I have gotten into sewing for these dolls recently and thought they needed some shoes to go along with the dresses I am making them. Thus the shoe pattern was born! The shoes are very easy to make and work up quick. The pattern also allows you to mix it up however you want. I hope you enjoy making these shoes as much as I have.

What you need:
- 3.75 mm crochet hook
- yarn (I used Red Heart yarn. Leftovers from past projects work great, too.)
- needle
- embroidery floss

Glossary:
- single crochet (sc)
- Back Loops Only (BLO)
- stitch (st)
- single crochet 6 together (sc6tog)

Shoe Pattern (make 2) -

Chain 7

1) Sc in 2nd chain from the hook. Sc in each st across.Continue to sc on opposite side of the chain. (12)

2) Sc on BLO around (12)

3) Sc in each st (12)

4) Sc in the next 3 stitches, sc6tog, sc in the next 3 (7)

5-14) Sc in each sc (7)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Now take your embroidery floss and thread up the shoe like you were doing a real tennis shoe. Once at the top, tie the floss in a bow. I also knotted mine so they wouldn't come undone. Cut the ends Now you are done! :-D

Congratulations! You have made your own Lalaloopsy shoes for your doll!

Variations:
- Add stripes
- Contrasting color shoe laces
- Crochet lace to the top
- Make the shoe shorter or taller

*You do NOT have permission to sell this pattern. You DO have permission to sell the shoes you make from this pattern. If you do sell shoes from this pattern, please leave a like to the pattern. Thank you!*

Have fun making your shoes!

Crochet Slippers

For my sister's birthday, I made some crocodile stitch slippers. I have made some for my mom and me and decided she needed a pair too. I used the Bonita pattern for the shoe. I love this pattern! You can probably tell since I used it 3x. Well, I guess 6x if you count each shoe. ;-) The yarn is *I think* Read Heart Boutique. But I'm not sure of the color name. I did mine with the same brand but it was with a purple scheme, not a blue.

Mabel Pines is Done!

Mabel Pines is finished! :-D I love how she turned out. It is so much fun to watch Gravity Falls with my own little Mabel.
I made up the pattern myself. And I also wrote it down as I went so I hope to sell the pattern soon. But if you don't crochet or don't want to wait for the pattern, you can get your own Mabel at my Etsy shop. Now I leave you with pictures.

Busy Bee

I am so sorry for the lack of posting! I got busy with Christmas, starting Community College, and life. But I still have been crocheting and I try to sew when I can.
Lately I have been sewing Hearts for Hearts doll pants and shorts. I made a few extra pairs to sell so I will try to get those up this week.
I have been crocheting birthday presents for my family. I can't post any pictures because
1) I don't have any
and
2) I haven't given it to them yet. But that will change this weekend. Party-time! Hehe!
I am also currently working(by that I mean I drew it out and know how I'm going to crochet it) on creating crochet dolls form the show Gravity Falls. I love watching that show! I am first working on Mabel (since she is my favorite character) then I will more on to Dipper. Eventually I want to do Gruncle Stan,Wendy, and Soos.
Oh! And Waddles. Can't forget Waddles. :-)
And with that I leave you with this quote "Anything's legal when the cops aren't around."
